Troubleshoot Reddit monitoring and delivery

Troubleshoot a Reddit monitoring workflow in RedRadar, including monitor validity, rule matching, scan availability, trial access and optional Telegram delivery.

The inbox is empty

Check that a valid monitor is saved, your access is active, and the selected communities are relevant. A post must match both target and intent terms and must not match an exclusion. There may simply be no matching new submissions. RedRadar does not monitor comment threads or promise results for every scan.

The scheduled upstream scan runs on a 15-minute cadence when collection and classification services are available. The web inbox refreshes separately, up to every 60 seconds. Refreshing the page repeatedly cannot speed up an upstream scan.

A rule cannot be saved

Read the field validation messages. You can have one product monitor, up to three communities and up to five rules. A standalone broad target like “ai” or “saas” is not a useful narrow match and is rejected. Use specific product/category terms and an appropriate intent. Supported short terms such as “v0” use word boundaries.

Trial access has not started

Creating an account alone does not start the trial. Save a valid monitor configuration to activate the 7-day trial. Telegram is optional and is not a condition of trial activation. Check the dashboard access status rather than assuming the preview activated a trial.

Telegram alerts are missing

The web inbox works without Telegram. If you want push alerts, check the connection status and your notification preferences in the workbench. An unavailable or unconfigured Telegram service cannot send an alert. The daily lead/alert limit is 10, and a successful inbox update is not proof of Telegram delivery. Never paste bot tokens into public discussions or support messages.

An integration or checkout is unavailable

The application deliberately reports disabled or unavailable states when an external service is not configured. This is not a successful scan, sent notification, or completed purchase. Payment confirmation is required before a $15, 30-day pass grants paid access; it has no automatic renewal.

Still need help?

Read the overview or return to the quickstart. Check the contact page for the availability of a real support mailbox. When reporting an issue, describe the screen, approximate time, and error message. Do not include passwords, API keys, private third-party messages, or payment-card details.

Checklist before contacting support

Confirm that the account is signed in, a valid monitor is saved, the selected communities are spelled correctly, and each rule has both a target and an intent term. Check whether the access status is active and whether the expected scan window has passed. If the source post was deleted or changed, the original link may no longer be available even though the earlier match was valid.

If the problem concerns Telegram, test the web inbox first. The web inbox and Telegram delivery have separate availability states; a visible web lead does not prove that a third-party notification was delivered. If the problem concerns checkout, wait for confirmed payment status rather than relying on a browser return page alone.
